Is LinkedIn Resume Generators Helpful?
Is LinkedIn Resume Generators Helpful?A LinkedIn resume generator can make your job search a lot easier than it would otherwise be. However, before you even start looking for someone to hire, you should know exactly what to look for in a recruiter's resume. Here are a few things you will want to look for, if you want to hire someone. The most important aspect of a recruiter is their ability to communicate clearly. They must be able to communicate and give you clear directions on where to send them in the future. You also want to make sure that they are at least familiar with the type of position you're recruiting for. If you are looking for a certain level of expertise, then it is probably a good idea to find out who the recruiters who are hiring those experts are. If they don't know of anyone who will fit the role you are recruiting for, then you will have to go out and recruit yourself.Make sure that they can also tell you how to submit your resume to LinkedIn, as well as how to fol low up with them. Keep in mind that this is a professional networking site, and not every recruiter is on LinkedIn. If the recruiter is not clear about how to use LinkedIn to their advantage, or what it means, then you will need to do the legwork yourself. In order to get started, I recommend using a recruiter who has their own resumes already designed. Once you have a resume you like, you can customize it by removing or adding certain aspects you like. Be sure to focus on your skills, experience, and education as much as possible.Recruiters also know when to use 'wham, bam, thank you ma'am' marketing tactics, when they should be subtle and when they should be dramatic. One very common tactic is to include a link in the cover letter to a sample job profile they have designed. These cover letters can also be embedded within their website. Some recruiters also include a link directly to their resume builder, which makes this process easier for their clients. Finally, recruiters should a lways be available. If you are hiring a recruiter to recruit people, then you should schedule a meeting before they begin showing your candidates. You want to make sure they are around for your first interview and you want to be sure that your candidate is interested in getting your offer as soon as possible. You don't want to put the recruiters through the stress of a cold call or to deal with an uninterested candidate. Most importantly, ask for a sample resume when you meet with a recruiter. This will help you see how the recruiter can help you. The recruiter will tell you their criteria for creating a resume, and how they make it different from a standard resume, and how they will handle a cover letter.A LinkedIn resume generator can help you find a great recruiter who will help you find the right candidate for your business. Find one today, and get started searching for the right candidate today!

Job Hunt Tips for New Grads and the Rest of Us! -
Job Hunt Tips for New Grads and the Rest of Us! - Photo by Ashley Dinges May brings the pomp and circumstance of graduations. The other day, my college roommate sent me an email with a number as the subject. The number was how many years ago to the day we graduated from Michigan. (Not mentioning the number here, suffice to say it was in the double digits.) I remember how exciting it was to graduate, but both of us only had fall back plans set up at that point, and the future seemed a little uncertain. To make a long story short, we both wound up working in New York City (me on Wall Street and my friend for a non-profit organization). Our lives took a course that we never (in a million years) would have imagined. Following a path to plans we hadnt actually charted changed both of our lives. Neither of us would be where we are today without having followed a road that we didnt pave ourselves. Looking back, I wouldnt change a thing. I think this story applies to all job seekers, not just new graduates. Keep an open mind to possibilities you may not have considered. If your hunt is getting stale, consider a new directional focus. Look for positions in a new, but related field. Open your eyes to opportunities that may not be what you expect, but may be exactly what you need. Keppie Careers will leverage over 10 years of experience helping job seekers for you! Contact us: results@keppiecareers.com or www.keppiecareers.com.

The executive summary should tell the reader who you are, why you are qualified for the position, and where you can find further information about you. After this introductory section, the career objective, or section describing the past job experiences should be included. Career objectives are like bullet points that include the most important accomplishments or the ones that you believe have contributed to the growth of your career.Your profile sectio n should start at the top of your resume and go down to the bottom. Strong Jobs Market, Economy Leads to Prison Guard Shortage
Strong Jobs Market, Economy Leads to Prison Guard Shortage As the national unemployment rate has dipped below 5% in 2016, filling job vacancies has become particularly difficult in one especially low-paying, dangerous position: prison guard. The Wall Street Journal reports that corrections departments across America are finding it hard to recruit and retain people to work in prisons. Fewer, less experience guards are being blamed for more dangerous prisons and more difficult working conditions, causing greater attrition of guards in a dangerous circle. Due largely to the violence they experience in the workplace, prison guards have one of the highest rates of nonfatal workplace injuries of workers in any field, according to a 2013 report from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. âThey can go out and work jobs with similar benefits and more pay,â said Rollin Cook, executive director of the Utah Department of Corrections. âAny time the economy is really good, we are challenged here.â Combined with a dangerous workplace, relatively low pay, increasing mandatory overtime, and the difficulty of hiring people willing to live or commute to the rural areas where many prisons are located have all contributed to rising turnover rates for prison staff, the Wall Street Journal reports. In Nebraska, the turnover rate for prison guards grew from under 20% in 2010 to more than 30% in 2015. A state investigation later blamed staff shortages for creating conditions that led to the stateâs first prison riot in more than half a century, in which a number of guards were assaulted and two inmates were killed. Some prisons in New Mexico are seeing job vacancy rates for guards of nearly 50%, while the 10% vacancy rate in Wisconsin has more than doubled in five years. Calculator: Becoming a millionaire On the bright side, the fact that workers can voluntarily leave these jobs speaks to the strong state of the economy and the robustness of the jobs market right now. Several states have been forced to increase pay and benefits for corrections officers to reduce attrition and stop employees from jumping ship to other less-stressful, better-paying gigs. âOur problem is not recruiting. Our problem is retaining employees,â said Nebraska state Sen. Heath Mello. âIt is an expensive process to train corrections officers and then lose them.â

Automotive Career Become An Aerodynamicist - Work It Daily
Automotive Career Become An Aerodynamicist - Work It Daily The automotive industry is filled with interesting and varied job opportunities (just look at Indeed.com, 47,000 job opportunities titled under âautomotiveâ)! However, aside from the people who have direct input and influence over the visual look of the vehicles we drive, there are many more who work behind the scenes. Safety and efficiency is important to nearly all drivers and there have been many advances in this area over recent years. For example, a greater appreciation of aerodynamics, that is, the interaction of air with moving objects or vehicles has been enormous, and itâs benefits of safety and efficiency by stabilizing vehicles at speed has not gone unnoticed. When we see a strong gust of wind move an otherwise steadfast object we get a glimpse of aerodynamics at play. This same principal is used in creating cars that glide through the air more efficiently (for better MPGs), and for better handling. The title for an engineer in this field is âaerodynamicist.â This can be a very challenging yet very rewarding automotive career for those who love cars and physics. Not many people are familiar with what an aerodynamicist does in the automotive field, even with the above explanation. However, an image of a wind tunnel and streams of air going over a car are immediately recognizable. Also, the designs you see at auto shows always seem sleeker and more aerodynamic than the years before...Well, that and everything along those lines is what this job entails. However, itâs not all fun and games inside the wind tunnel like Myth Busters or other shows would make you believe. Since wind tunnels are serious business, are very expensive and the tests and analyses run in them have hundreds of variable and different designs that need to be accounted for, and work inside a wind tunnel can be never-ending. Designs and cars must continually be improved and enhanced to fit new benchmarks, and government mandates. The primary concern of an aerodynamicist, besides efficiency, is to create a better driving and riding experience in the vehicle. This includes looking at controlling the drag of the tires, the wind noise and the noise of the vehicle as it moves past other things. The lift of the vehicle as it moves at different velocities along different types of road surfaces is another issue. This is why a newer car can drive more smoothly at speeds never attained in the past by production cars, and why a used car typically never seems as quiet as a newer one. Also, improvement in aerodynamics has enabled cars to be faster. The field of racing-development utilizes aerodynamics very much in order to ascertain advantages over other racers as well as to ensure the safety of their drivers while going at these fast speeds (racing and motorsports is where the big money is at in aerodynamics, but the production auto industry is great too). The work of aerodynamicists include creating computer models of vehicle (as well as real-life replicas of car), and creating other objects and exploring methods that require engineering, mechanical and design skill. They use specialized computer software to aid in design as well as replicating test scenarios. This helps to lessen the cost of physical tests because preliminary testing can be done using computer models. The vehicles will be enhanced repeatedly based on these tests so that when it comes time for the physical test the primary factors would have been accounted for. An aerodynamicist job requires years of study at a technical or other school in order to learn the concepts and how to use theâ tools of the trade.â An automotive aerodynamicist would also learn a lot from having worked in the industry and developed hands-on knowledge and skill. Trial and error is a big part of this job, so no doubt it is continuously challenging. Aerodynamicists are multi-functional engineers; therefore, when learning they will have to develop and practice manual skills such as constructing models as well as making the needed modifications. They also need software-related skills to prepare data as well as analyze and interpret it. They will have to prepare reports on the tests they do, the results and document progress. Their work is as much research and development as it is implementation and testing of features. Automotive aerodynamicists fall in the middle salary range for the automotive engineering industry. They tend to make more money the longer they are in the field and the more significant and successful their achievements have been. Engineers that work in racing are likely to make above average if they work for large racing teams in the U.S. or other parts of the world. This field is currently more popular for males than females. However, as more females enter the auto industry a rise in the number of female aerodynamicists can be expected. Aerodynamics may not be one of the most well-known jobs in the auto industry but it is certainly essential to it. It can be a rewarding job but it requires particular skills that must be learned in an academic setting then practiced in the practical setting in order to be mastered. It is a field that allows for continued growth and development as technology is always changing and the ever increasing need and government mandates for fuel efficiency is unavoidable.
